SOACET 2024

SOACET 2024 is a national-level AME entrance exam administered by the School of Aeronautics for admission to B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME). All SOA courses are approved by AICTE/DGCA, and B.Tech programs are affiliated with Bikaner Technical University (BTU).

AICTE and DGCA are the exclusive authorities in India responsible for approving B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) courses, respectively. DGCA serves as the regulatory body overseeing the operations of aviation organizations in India.

SOA conducts these entrance exams annually at various centers nationwide, typically in May/June.

SOACET Eligibility

B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering)

Duration: 4 Years

• 10+2 pre-degree/intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (percentage as per AICTE norms)
• Diploma in Engineering in any stream with 45%
• Bachelor of Science (BSc.) with 45%

For lateral entry in B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) program / Integrated Program of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) + AME  

Duration: 3 Years

• Diploma in Engineering in any stream with 45%
• Bachelor of Science (BSc.) with 45%

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME)

Duration: 2 Years

• 10+2 pre-degree/intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (percentage as per AICTE norms)
• Diploma in Engineering in any stream
• Bachelor of Science (BSc.)

Note:- For AME, Students should not have color blindness.

Integrated Course ( B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering + Aircraft Maintenance Engineering)

Duration: 4 Years

• 10+2 pre-degree/intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

SOACET Exam Pattern

• • The question paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
  • There will be three sections Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • The question paper will consist of 150 marks.
  • There will be no negative marking for incorrect answer.
  • SOACET exam will be of 2 hour 30 minutes.
  • SOACET examination will be conducted through online/offline mode with web camera.
  • SOACET examination will be held in the month of May/June.

SOACET Examination Fee

Registration Fee for School of Aeronautics Common Entrance Test (SOACET) is Rs. 1000/-. This amount is neither refundable nor transferable nor adjustable for future SOACET.

SOACET Registration Process

Online Applications are invited from eligible candidates of residents of India, and Indian Nationals residing in other countries, for admission into first year B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) & AME program run in SOA.

Online Mode:

The applicant may fill online application form for SOACET Entrance Exam through our  websites www.soaneemrana.org / www.ameadmission.org   or Click here to fill form directly, After filling the form online there is no need to send any documents to the college.

Candidates must perform following activities while submitting the online application form :

• Applicant may visit our websites www.soaneemrana.org / www.ameadmission.org or Click here to fill form directly.
• Registration Fee of SOACET is Rs. 1000/-.
• Candidates must fill basic information in form & upload photo & sign (in jpg format Max up to 500 KB).
• Candidates may make online payment through Internet banking / credit card / debit card on our portal. 
• Candidates will receive registration number after confirmation on successful payment. 
• Kindly keep registration number & payment receipt for future use.

Offline Mode:

Candidates must perform following activities while submitting the offline application form :

• To download the application form Applicant may Click Here Or they may visit our websites www.soaneemrana.org / www.ameadmission.org.
• Candidates must fill basic information in form & paste a photo & sign the form.
• Registration Fee of SOACET is Rs. 1000/-.
• Candidates must make a DD of Rs. 1000/- in favor of School of Aeronautics, payable at New Delhi.
• Candidates may then send the form & DD to our corporate office through Post at School of Aeronautics, H 974, Palam Extention, Part 1, Sector 7 Dwarka, New Delhi, Delhi 110077.
  

• After receiving the form at our Corporate Office candidate will get Registration Number by SMS and EMail.

• Kindly keep registration number & DD number for future use.

Admit Card will be issued 10 days before entrance test, Candidate will receive Admit Card through EMail and SMS.

Results will be declared after entrance examination in around a week.

School Of Aeronautics Scholarship Details

• Admission Fee (Rs.31000/-) waived-off for those candidates who qualified SOACET Exam otherwise they have to pay the admission fee.
• You can also avail the scholarship on the basis of your 12th class (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) marks percentage.
• If candidate belongs to (OBC/SC/ST) category we offer 5% scholarship & additionally 5% scholarship for the Girl candidates.
• During the course duration, on the basis of performance in semester exams conducted by university. (FOR THE CLARIFICATION OF THE STUDENTS, WE LOOK FOR INCREASING % OF MARKS FROM CLASS 12 ONWARDS).
• Society also helps in getting the scholarship from various bodies.
• Maximum amount of Scholarship to be given in a Semester is Rs. 2 Lac. For more details Click here
