Basically, Aeronautical Engineering involves designing, developing, and constructing aircraft—machines that can fly.
The Aeronautical Engineers are primarily responsible for developing safer, more energy-efficient, and more cost-effective methods of travel, including aircraft, helicopters, satellites, missiles, and spacecraft. These include the science of propulsion and aerodynamics, even though they also cover the development and selection of materials and equipment used in aircraft.
Aero Engineers are part of the designing process to make the fastest vehicle. E.g., Aeroplanes that weigh over a million pounds can take off into the air and spacecraft travel 17.000 miles an hour.
B.Tech Program, Approved by AICTE & Affiliated to

The DGCA has approved training for the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering program at SOA. The license Examination is conducted by the DGCA. The training at the institute lasts 2 years, spread over 4 semesters. These 2 Years have 2400 Hrs of planned training, out of which 2050 Hrs will be in classrooms and labs, and 350 Hrs will be in the actual maintenance environment, i.e., at MRO. School of Aeronautics has tied up with Air India, which is India’s largest MRO. The Total Aviation Experience requirement to obtain a B1.1 or B2 license is as per CAR 147 Basic.
Different types of Avionics & Mechanical workshops provide students with the opportunity to study various theories & practices of aircraft Avionics & Mechanical systems. In short, SOA provides all the facilities to make a student a successful Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

Integrated course is a combined course of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, in which students will appear for two different examinations for isssue of Degree and Licence. Both the courses will be running parallel to each other, at the end of four years students will have both B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) & Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, their by making him eligible for both manufacturing as well Maintenance jobs related to aircrafts. This will also enhance the placement probabilities as we will be able to apply every type of job available in aviation industry, either related to manufacturing or maintenance.
School of Aeronautics was established in 1992. Since then, we have been into providing world-class Aviation Education, in various disciplines like Aeronautical Engineering,
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering & Cabin Crew. AICTE, DGCA, & Affiliated approve the School of Aeronautics to Bikaner Technical University (BTU).

India has become the third-largest Aviation market in the world after the US and China, with very high passenger growth. According to IATA, India is expected to be the first Aviation Market by 2030. Due to the government's liberalisation policies, there has been tremendous growth in India's aviation industry. Many private airlines and corporations, viz GoAir, IndiGo, Jet Airways, SpiceJet, Vistara, etc., are operating today with very good operating revenues. India is also the fastest-growing Aviation market. According to IATA, around 726 aircraft will be inducted into the Indian Aviation industry in the next 5 years. If we talk about Boeing, India’s demand for aircraft will touch 1740 over the next 20 years.
With the India Aviation Policy 2016, regional connectivity is increasing day by day, and many regional airlines have already started operating, with many more in the pipeline. At present, regional airlines alone operate 70 aircraft.
India's aviation market is growing at an annual rate of 11%.
With the Government of India's Make in India initiative, many aircraft manufacturers have approached the government to set up manufacturing units in India and have successfully entered into tie-ups with existing units in the country. Boeing and Airbus are also entering the manufacturing sector in India.
With such a huge expansion in the Indian Aviation sector, there will be a need for approximately 3.3 Lac trained manpower in the field of Aeronautical Engineering.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering(AME), Cabin Crew, and various other fields, such as flying.
Keeping all this data in mind, SOA has developed one of the largest aviation colleges in Neemrana.
All the labs in the college are very well developed. Click Here to see our labs in 360° view.
SOA has its own 52-seater, fully serviceable aircraft for student training.
We focus heavily on students' skill development. In addition to academic theory & practicals, we are offering classes in French and software such as CAD, CAM, CATIA, CFD, MATLAB & ANSYS. This helps students enhance their software skills, too, which will help them build their own models and perform software analysis. The French language is also provided to students
The Placement Office of the college provides equal opportunity to all enrolled students of Aeronautical Engineering.
