Aircraft maintenance engineering compromises two types of courses, i.e. Course A and Course B. It differs with respect to the duration of the course and the level of knowledge that the students can absorb. The eligibility requirements must be met by engineering candidates who want to enroll in the AME program. At the time of admission, candidates must have successfully completed the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) portion of the 10+2 board exam or an equivalent 3-year engineering diploma in any stream that has been authorized by the AICTE. The applicant must have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 45% in PCM or an equivalent course. Candidates who meet the requirements for B.Tech. admission are also eligible for the course in aircraft maintenance engineering.
