BIOGRAPHY

MR. SUKUMAR

Ms. Makupen Wijunamai grew up in Kanglatongbi (Manipur), where she spoke liangmai at home and Manipuri with my friends. She first completed Honours degree in English Literature at CCTS. Manipur, her M.Div at MU University and her MA at BBC Hyderabad University. She has over eight years of experience in teaching. She specialises in modern and contemporary literature with a particular interest in confessional courses in academic writing, critical reading, creative nonfiction, and digital writing. In 2006, she was awarded as best Academic student. She has attended several National and International conferences and workshops.

 

She has published and presented two papers in International and National conferences and journals:

  • “Ethics in Actions Research: An Indian classroom context” at “research in Education: Methodological Issues and Emerging Trends”, a national conference organised by Department of Education.”

 

  • “Mother Tongue and English: A Regional Study of Primary School” at “Exploring Psychological Perspectives in Education”.

 

Her academic interests are in the areas of Communication Technique and Soft skills development. Her first two years as a lecturer were spent in JIMS Senapati, which were tremendous fun and a very important stepping-stone towards her move.
